Title showing 'category: *title name*' How do I remove 'category'?
-
Hey, I’ve been trying to add pages to my site. I’ve been using category to make new pages, but no matter what the title, it has a prefix of category in it.
So if I name a category – smokables, it will come up as ‘category: smokables’. How do I remove the category from it?
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hi there,
Unfortunately that can’t be removed with CSS and is built into the theme (see this page on the demo https://gazettedemo.wordpress.com/category/cars/ )
Sorry I can’t offer you a nice easy fix,

Hey Sagebrownell,
This seems to happen in each theme, including Hemingway Rewritten which I had used earlier for a different blog, and did not include ‘category’ in the title.
Could it not be a bug of some sorts since I have just bought the site, and it does say that certain things will take 72 hours?

Hey there,
It isn’t a bug, it’s just a default setting I guess through multiple themes. It’s on the demo site so probably won’t be changing on yours.
Sorry about that,
