thumbnail pic when sharing blog

Add topic to favorites
when sharing a post (lets say on facebook), how do you get the picture within the post to act as the thumbnail pic?
when I use the featured image upload , it only works on the actual blog , but doesn’t work when your sharing the blog.

The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hello ,
I’m sorry but we cannot help with this. When using Publicize, we have no control over the images that Facebook chooses to display or when they choose to flush their image caches. We really only send them the URL of the post, and they hunt through that for the excerpt and images to include. I think this is a Facebook issue. It used to work fine until about a week ago. Now it doesn’t find all the images in the post properly. Before it would list all the images and you picked the one you wanted to display.

Not much help, I know.

I know it’s a Facebook issue. We have known that for a long time. Every time Facebook makes changes which is often this is an issue. Please read what dandelionsalad posted in the thread I linked to above.
