  I went to an image map generator site so that I could put an image on my homepage with clickable links to various pages. I have done this before on a post and I have had no problems. However, I tried text and shortcode and paragraph boxes. The message I get is ‘this image has an empty alt attribute’ or an image of a small page icon. What do I do in order to get an image?

  Make sure that you add an alt attribute for the image, so vision impaired users can still navigate your page: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Alt_attribute
