There was a brief outage this afternoon…
-
Hi all, we had some brief downtime across WordPress.com this afternoon. From 4:30pm PDT to 4:45pm PDT sites were offline and only loaded an error message. Everything is back to normal now.
We just wanted to let you know in case you were coming to the forums to report your site being down. Thanks for your patience!

Yay! I thought this was happening and actually freaked out cause I thought my blog might of got deleted lol! Thanks for clearing this up! Much love

I’m still getting this from my home computer This site can’t be reached. But I can reach it outside of my home. My wife can’t get on the site either from our home office on her computer.

my site is down. please help. http://www.dashingelements.com. I need it up asap as I have some client content to post.

I’m sorry to hear that you are having trouble. However, http://dashingelements.com/ is a self-hosted WordPress.org blog, which we really can’t help with.
To clear up any confusion, WordPress.com and WordPress.org are two different entities: http://support.wordpress.com/com-vs-org/
WordPress.org has complete documentation and support sites for self-hosted/installed versions of WordPress.org at http://codex.wordpress.org/ and http://wordpress.org/support/ Your webhost’s support team is another good resource.

And with that, I am going to close this thread to eliminate any confusion. this was a particular incident on our end and adding on other unrelated site issues won’t help.
If you are experiencing an issue with your WordPress.com site, please make a new post in the forums or contact us via https://wordpress.com/help/contact
