theme option issue
-
Hi there
I have joined the wordpress today. I picked Selecta theme and I have turned on ‘Show sticky posts in a featured slider on the front page’ on theme option from Appearance. The featured slider was not appeared on the preview as I expected. I tried everything but nothing works. It looks like a bug. Can you please have a look at this issue? Your speed assistance will be greatly appreciated. Thanks, DeafGeeky

Featured Post Slider
Add a touch of interactivity with your blog while showing off your amazing videos and images by showcasing your Sticky Posts with the featured posts slider. Turn it on in Appearance → Theme Options. After you enable the slider, it will appear at the top of your front page once you mark at least two posts as sticky. If you have just one sticky post, that post will stand on its own at the top of the page.https://wordpress.com/themes/selecta/To use the theme customizer and locate Theme Options see here https://en.support.wordpress.com/customizer/

As timethief pointed out from Selecta’s theme documentation, you’ll need at least two published sticky posts to see the slider – right now you only have one.
Selecta is a fairly old theme so its options aren’t in the Customizer, they are in WP Admin at Appearance > Theme Options:

I can see that you’ve already opted to display the slider.
Let me know how it goes after adding a second sticky post.
