Theme for a site with a map and alphabetized posts?
-
I am starting a blog that is a list with short notes on several parks in my area for people to look for and compare parks.
It would be great if the site or theme could have a built in map and if somehow the post would possibly alphabetize?
Any thoughts or guidance appreciated
Henry

The guide to the only map we can use is found here http://en.support.wordpress.com/google-maps/
Toy cannot order posts alphabetically by title. Blogs are essentially a reverse chronological order publishing tool wherein the most recent published post will display on top. You cannot change this order on a free hosted WordPress.com blog. It’s designed to serve your visitors as they come to read the most recent posts and will not be inclined to trawl through hundreds of posts to locate it.
See here for the option of creating a book-like structure > http://en.support.wordpress.com/write-a-book/ Perhaps that will work for you.
Or you could use a single sticky post as an index page > http://en.support.wordpress.com/posts/post-visibility/#sticky-posts
Or by using categories you create a site index http://en.support.wordpress.com/sitemaps/#create-a-site-index

We have many attractive themes with useful spacial features and you can use the feature filters by clicking find a theme at this link http://theme.wordpress.com/
I think that Hemingway Rewritten is a theme you ought to consider http://theme.wordpress.com/themes/hemingway-rewritten/
