    Don’t have a logo yet, but the tagline which I’m trying to use to shortly describe the website, isn’t showing up anywhere. Any ideas? New to wordpress, so dumb it down if possible.

    The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

    It looks like the theme displays only the Site Title though the Tagline is present. The tagline is visible in the browser’s tab for the user but not on the website.

    As tony733t pointed out, Lovecraft does not display the tagline, though it’s present in the HTML and can be displayed with custom CSS, and its style modified further if you like:

    .site-branding .site-description {
         display: inherit;
    }

    Custom CSS is available with the Premium or Business plans.
