Switching from GoDaddy to WordPress.com
-
I am new to all of this. The domain I own is with GoDaddy. I built a website for blogging with their platform GoCentral. I had originally tried to build the website with GoDaddy’s one-click install (I think that’s what it was called) of WordPress but it was too complicated for me. I have now realized that GoCentral doesn’t provide some of what I need. It is a comment-free website which is not good for blogging and I cannot use tags or subcategories, only categories. I am considering switching to WordPress.com but am not sure if the WordPress w/GoDaddy was .net or .com. Whichever one it was too hard for me. If it was .com I don’t think I should switch to WordPress. If it was .net then maybe I could try .com. Thoughts?
