Suggestions on Creating A Rota

Hello, I’m hoping somebody out there can help me.
I run a local cub scout group, and I want to create a parent help rota. Rather than do this on A4, we have our own self hosted WP site. I thought maybe I could create some sort of empty calendar, presented on the WordPress site, and allow people to put their name down against a date to volunteer to help us run our group. We only meet on Mondays, therefore don’t need a whole Weekly calendar, just Mondays for the rest of the year.
Does anybody out there have any suggestions on how to make life easy for me whilst putting this together. Not all of our children’s parents have a login on our site, So I thought maybe making it easy to login via their existing social media or Gmail accounts would help, but creating the calendar & making it easily editable is something that is puzzling me.

Hmm – OK – but surely wordpress plugins and ideas work across the platforms… Someone here will have enough knowledge to post an answer but just won’t because of the .com ? Surely not ?
