Subscribers not getting emails

I published a new post today and emails did not go out to subscribers. I subscribe myself to the blog, to make sure emails that contain new posts reach subscribers. I’ve checked with friends as well, and they also didn’t receive emails with today’s post. In fact, they haven’t received emails for the last few posts. What should I do?

Just for clarification, WordPress comes in different flavors.
