Sticky post in category
-
I’ve set a post as sticky in my category Sunday Services. But it doesn’t come to the top now I have some newer dated posts. Doesn’t sticky work within categories?
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Sticky posts only display on your front page just like the documentation states. http://en.support.wordpress.com/posts/post-visibility/#sticky-posts
They are meant to be temporary and it’s not advisable to create more that one. -

It’s important to comprehend that
1. we can post to only one page in a blog and that’s thr front page unless we change it to another static page.
2. when we publish a post it automatically appears in the Archives pages.
3. when we publish a post and assign categories & tags to it then it will automatically appear in the Categories pages.Categories and tags are used to organize and sort posts. Posts and Pages are two different animals. http://en.support.wordpress.com/post-vs-page/
http://onecoolsitebloggingtips.com/2010/05/12/better-blogging-at-wordpress-com-pages-and-posts/If you wish to create the appearance (not the reality) that you are posting to more than one page this can be achieved by choosing a theme that has the custom menu feature.
Have you ever wanted to have a different title for one of your pages than the label displayed in your site’s navigation? Ever wanted to change the order of the list of pages to an order you chose yourself? Ever wanted to be able to mix pages, categories, and random links in your navigation instead of your theme deciding for you? If you answered yes to any of these questions, you’re in luck! The new custom menus feature will do all those things.
