Sticky at top and cannot find it to edit/remove

sticky post on Vigilance I cannot unstick or edit-I cannot find it anywhere in published post
The blog I need help with is whisperingcraneinstitute.wordpress.com.
Look in the Dashboard>Posts. There is a link at the top “Sticky”. Click on it to show all your posts that are sticky.
You can use the Quick Edit link to change its Status from being a sticky post. Uncheck the box and click “update”.
@wcicrane – Since the Vigilance theme is apparently no longer supported, I’m trying to remember whether there was a special notification or welcome widget that one could add at the top. If you don’t find a sticky post, try looking under Dashboard>Appearance>Widgets.
Staff: since obviously there are still some people using retired themes, it would be great if rather than deleting all information, the theme information simply could remain archived with a big notice that the theme is not available for new sites.
@jen: You remember well, Vigilance has an “Alert Box”, only it’s in Appearance > Theme Options.
Documented here:

That worked!!! Thank you, thank you, thank you . . .
@wcicrane – You’re welcome. I noticed that you’re using Oxygen now. Was Vigilance’s “Alert Box” interfering somehow with the switch?
Panos, I might remember, but not well. I failed to remember that one can deploy Vigilance on older sites, but not on new sites, so I could have tried it out on my existing test site. So it goes (literally).
@justjennifer it was the alert box where I found the solution.
Yes I am trying this new theme it may inspire me to come back and do more on WordPress, I spend time on twitter and Tumblr(like the ease of quickly posting visuals).
