visitors count in stat is not showing actual count

It can take up to two hours for new visitors to show up in your stats. What are you seeing in your stats that suggests the visitor count is incorrect?

Hi,Thanks for your reply.it is not showing the actual count since 2 months,iknow many people are reading my bogs but it showing 0 or some times 2 or 3 .pl do the needful

Are you seeing this information for Days in the visitors tab? Here’s a link to the page I was looking at:

https://wordpress.com/stats/day/mazhaweb.wordpress.com

Dips and peaks in traffic are perfectly normal :) Creating new posts will help to increase the number of visitors to your site — especially when those posts are picked up by search engines.

A view is counted when a visitor loads or reloads a page. How did your friends view the post? Did they go directly to the post on your site, or did they view in the Reader?

On the 27th February your view count increased to 7 — which suggests views from your friends were registered in your stats.

In your previous replies, you mentioned that the visitor counts were not updating. Visitor numbers are a little different to views. A visitor is counted when we see a user or browser for the first time in a given period (day, week, month).

Dear Madam,

The issue is not solved yet.No.of views showing in the stats is entirely wrong.if 100 people view my post it is showing the count below 10.Pl do the needful to solve the stat issue.
