spacing on site and widgets

    When I go to the edit section of my page it shows up as I want it to with 3 posts across. 1 left 1 centre 1 right. I save the settings and every time I open my page the right side is blank and there is only two posts across all the way down. So the posts are appearing on the left and centre but the right is staying empty. I can’t find any function to alter this in editing. Any ideas how I can ensure the right side gets filled too? Also is there a way to add a custom widget (for example the goodreads reading challenge widget or quotes widget – not the goodreads widget you have listed)?
