Some Posts displayed not in order of date posted

Hi All,

I have noticed that on my blog, some of the posts are not in order of the date posted. On the Dashboard they are displayed in the correct order of the date they were published but on the view that the public sees there are some mismatches. Can any one shed some light?

It appears like you are setting all your posts as sticky posts whether on purpose or by accident.

Start with your latest post and open each in the editor and “unstick” them and then update.

Alternately you can go to posts in your dashboard, check the box to the left of each post title, and then from the bulk actions pulldown select “bulk edit” and then uncheck the “sticky post” box and then click “update.”

Thank you so much. It has been driving me crazy. I now realise what the sticky function is for. I have been using it for the wrong purposes. Thanks for your help.
