Slideshow border in Coraline
-
Hi
I’m just setting up a simple blog to act as a website, and want to include a slideshow with some of my photographs. I’ve selected a series of landscape images, thinking they would more or less fill the slideshow frame – and am disappointed with how large the black border is around the images; it seems to engulf them! Is there any way to make the images larger or the border smaller? Here’s a direct link to the page: http://jillsinclair.wordpress.com/photography/
Many thanks for any help.
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

No, the WP slideshow isn’t customizable.
You can try the better looking gallery carousel slideshow, with just one image on the page. Go to Media > Library, hover over the image you want to display, note its ID number in the status/progress bar of your browser. Back to the post editor, switch to HTML, change the shortcode to this:
[gallery columns="1" size="full" include="ID NUMBER HERE"]
For examples of the gallery carousel check this post:

Thanks for the suggestions. I don’t really want visitors to have to click on an image to activate the show (which is I think what happens with the gallery carousel). I’d like the photos just to change automatically as people open the page and read the text. I guess I’ll just try to get used to that over-sized frame!
