Site URL in Jetpack is Incorrect

We recently installed the Jetpack plugin for a WordPress site that we’ve had running for quite some time. For some reason, Jetpack shows the site’s URL as an old development URL. I have looked through the DB and have not been able to find that URL listed anywhere, so I’m not sure why Jetpack is listing it.

How do we change the URL that Jetpack lists to match our actual site URL? Thank you!

The blog I need help with is

    Hi there,

Jetpack will show the URL of the site that was active at the time that Jetpack was first connected.

To change that, disconnect Jetpack, and reconnect it. Just keep in mind if you’re logged into a different account when you reconnect, the ownership of the Jetpack connection will also change to the new account.

There’s a chance that doing this might cause your past stats and subscribers to disappear. If this happens, please contact Jetpack support at and they should be able to restore that for you.

Thanks for the suggestion! Disconnecting and reconnecting worked.

It’s particularly odd to me since the site had been running on the correct URL for several months when we first installed and turned Jetpack on. I’m not sure where it pulled the develop URL from. Regardless, all seems to be working now.

    Thanks for the help!
