Site host name does not match SSL certificate Subject Name
-
Hi
I have received an email from Google with the above subject and content is below:
[Site host name, https://fiindingfaces.com, does not match your SSL certificate Subject Name
We have noticed that the host name of your site, https://fiindingfaces.com, does not match any of the “Subject Names” in your SSL certificate, which were:
*.wordpress.com
wordpress.comAs a result, many web browsers will block users from accessing your site, or display a security warning message when your site is accessed.
Recommended action:
To correct this problem, please get a new SSL certificate by a Certificate Authority (CA) with a “Subject Name” or “Subject Alternative DNS Names” that matches your host name.]Pls advise me on the course of action with an email to my email address stated ((email visible only to moderators and staff))
The url of my blog is http://fiindingfaces.com/
(i have upgraded my account to replace the original domain name with the domain name (fiindingfaces.com) i have purchased)Appreciate your follow up!
Thank you.The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hi there!
We’re aware of this issue with mapped domains. You can read more from us on this here:
https://en.forums.wordpress.com/topic/ssl-and-security-certificates
Basically, there has been no change on WordPress.com’s side of things. Google sent out these messages for informational purposes, but everything is working fine and you don’t need a separate certificate.
All you need to do to avoid error messages is make sure you share links to your site that start with http:// and not https://
Let me know if you have further questions!
