Simple-minded blog: conversion from paid to free. Questions.
-
Mine is an *unbelievably* simple hosted WordPress.org site. The html is based on a butchered version of Jeff Starr’s H5 template. The css is a mere 1.3KB. Four @font-faces, one svg for the site image. Yes, it is far less pricey than getting the same *full* flexibility at wordpress.com, plus I’d lose custom template, fonts, and svg.
Question is, simply, could I load up my css and get someone’s guess as to which wordpress.com template would be best for me?
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hi there,
You can upload a custom theme or plugin if your site is on a business plan. Also, with either a Premium or Business plan. you can add custom CSS to any template. You choose a theme that will suit your site here:https://wordpress.com/themes

Thank you, labifrancis. Yours is a clear and concise answer. The business plan would clearly work for me, but is about 4 times as pricey as I’m paying. (And doesn’t mention add-on domains: I have two.) I think, for what might be called a “hobbyist” blog, the great price is not justifiable. I can write the code (php/html/svg/javascript/css/etc.) but don’t feel the need to pay that much to implement them here.
I’ll mark this as resolved for now and move on.
Thanks again.
