Signing Up with old WordPress Email address not working

Hello! I first signed up here on WordPress using my personal email address but then I transferred my site to another email address. Now, I want to sign up for a new account using the first email I used but it says it’s not available anymore/user does not exist. Please help me. Thank you!

Hello! Thank you for your response but it seems that I have resolved the issue. Turns out, I didn’t transfer ownership to another email. I only changed the email address in the account settings, and I thought that was already the way to transfer my blog site to the email I wanted. So I am still using the original email I signed up with, after all. No wonder it said email wasn’t available. I’ve also figured out how to transfer a blog site and I did it successfully yesterday. Thank you very much and sorry for the trouble! 😅

And, emails can be updated here:
https://wordpress.com/me/account

If the address is in use already, try using another browser to log in with that address. You can then change its address if needed, or transfer to that account, etc.
