Sight theme, Sticky posts problem

Hi,
since the upgrade to the new editor, posts that I define as sticky, will no longer show on the sticky posts carossel on the top. I’m using Sight theme.
hope someone have a solution!

I do see the featured posts slider at the top of your blog. Please clear your browser cache https://en.support.wordpress.com/browser-issues/#clearing-your-browser-cache

cache cleared. didn’t help.
also, even when I un-stick the post showing in the carosel, it says there. what’s going on? -

Did you upload a featured image of the exact dimensions required by the theme? Read the Quick Specs (all measurements in pixels) http://theme.wordpress.com/themes/sight/
The main column width is 640; sidebar width is 275. Sight’s layout is responsive, meaning the columns adjust to fit smaller screen sizes.
Featured images in the sticky posts slider are 290 in height with a flexible width (maximum width is 640).
All other featured images are 290 width, and 290 in height. These images are displayed on displayed on posts on the home page, on archive pages, and on the search results page.I tagged this thread for Themes Staff assistance. i never had any issues with the sticky carousel before, no matter what size the featured image was. the problem started when wordpress switched to the new editor.
this and more – why can’t i un-stick the post still showing in the carousel? -
I am sorry I cannot help you resolve this. This thread is tagged for Staff. What’s required is your patience as Staff work through all forum threads tagged for their attention and through all email support tickets in chronological order based on datestamps and timestamps – first posted first served, as would be expected.
How long it takes to clear the threads and support tickets depends on how many Happiness Engineers are working on them at any given point in time. It also depends on how complex the issues in each thread and ticket are are.
Please don’t bump your thread here by posting into it again because it’s not in your best interest to post to it after it has been tagged for Staff help. Doing that moves the timestamps forward and it takes longer to get a response.

I took a look at your site at https://clicknroll.wordpress.com/ and I don’t see any sticky posts or the featured slider there. Were you able to fix this yourself, or is there anything more I can do to help?

it looks like when i unstick posts, it take a little while for the change to appear.
one more problem I found – there is room in the carousel only for one post.
when i try to stick two – one show up in the carousel and the other just under it, along with the regular posts. -
Yes, it can take a little time for that change to appear on your site, so that makes sense. However, the featured slider can hold up to 30 sticky posts in it, so the other problem you mentioned shouldn’t happen.
Can you please try adding two sticky posts to the slider? I can then take a look to see what’s happening there.
