Shockingly bad choice of advertising

    Shocked to find advertising for betting and similar stuff on our website for accounting! Is there no regulation to avoid this kind of crash between blog content and advertising? How can I move the blog to an other domene?

    The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

    wordpress.com shows advertising on websites on the Free Plan to keep them for free. WordPress.com doesn’t have any controle on these adverts. If you want to remove these adverts, you must upgrade to a paid plan, https://en.support.wordpress.com/plan-features/

    Hi there, WordPressdotcom also has no interest in displaying bad ads. If you find an objectionable ad on your website, please take a screenshot and upload it to your website and then report it using this link https://en.support.wordpress.com/about-these-ads/

    Thanks for getting in touch. It’d be great if you can capture a screen shot of the ads for us.

    Also, there should be a small report this ad option visible. Please use that option as it will send us more detailed information needed for tracking down any ads that are violating our agreements.

    Also, it’s important to remember that the ads you’re seeing are not necessarily what your visitors also see. These are based off of the search history and sites that you visit as an individual. Someone who does a lot of research about Farming would see Farming ads, for example. A coffee enthusiast would see Coffee related ads, etc…

    For anyone else searching for this it is in minute print and only appears if you mouse over the bottom right corner of (some but not all!) of the ads.

    Getting a screenshot and clicking “report this ad” is the fastest route to resolution if it’s truly a bad ad.

    If it’s just an ad that doesn’t really go with your site, though, please don’t report is as bad, as that will clog up the gears.

    If the problem isn’t the ad itself but the placement, again, a screenshot will help.
