securing contact form with ssl
-
I’d like to create an intake form on our site for potential new patients using the “Contact Form”. But one of the fields I would like to include is the patient’s health card number. I want to ensure that all the information they submit on the form is secure. So how do I make sure the contact form submission goes through HTTPS? (i.e. SSL security)
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hi!
We’re currently unable to issue SSL certificates for domains registered or mapped with WordPress.com (like strathconamidwiferycollective.com). So, I don’t believe we’ll be able to provide exactly what you’re asking for (a security certificate). I’m sorry! The information input through the contact form will only get sent directly to you as the owner of the site and held here in your Feedback section:
