Can I register the ccTLD ".se" (country code top-level domain) at WordPress.com?

Hi, can I have a blog called “something.se”? I can only see that I can choose from .com, .org and .net

ccTLD’s (country code top-level domains like .se) cannot be registered through WordPress.com. However, you can register ccTLD’s through a third-party registrar and then map it to your blog with our Domain Mapping upgrade.
With certain domains, like .se and other non-US domains, your registrar may require us to add a “Zone Record” on the WordPress.com servers before the name servers can be updated. Once you purchase your domain, let us know what it is and we will add a zone record.
After we add a zone record, you can map your custom domain to your WordPress.com blog with our Domain Mapping upgrade.

It’s been almost a decade since this question was asked, but just in case folks come across this, WordPress.com now offers an array of ccTLDs, as well as hundreds of new generic top level domains (TLDs) for registration. Country Code TLDs (ccTLDs) for Canada, France, India, Indonesia, Mexico, and the UK are currently available.
