Says published but url shows nothing

    How do I see my website? My first post says ‘published’ but when I point my browser to the url, nada.

    Hi,

    While I know nothing is showing up yet, can you share the url where your website is supposed to be?

    The first thing I can think of to check is the privacy setting, which you’ll find in the user dashboard under settings, and each individual post has privacy options as well. You can set how you want these to be set by default, but if they’re set to “private,” they will be hidden from view unless you’re logged in.

    If the setting is “public,” then something else must be going on, and we’ll try to figure it out! Keep us posted!

    I tried that last night to no avail.

    I suspect it has something to do with being a Namecheap-registered domain that’s hosted on Bluehost?

    I’m ready to keep digging in.

    You’re asking in the WordPress.com support forum but that site isn’t hosted here. The Nameservers still point to NameCheap. If you’ve already created a site using the WordPress.org software using BlueHost you’ll need to ask them.
