Russian (.ru) spammers

I have blocked all comments from Russian spammers on my blog – their comments go right to my TRASH and SPAM files without ever even appearing on my blog – but apparently they still use my images to ‘carry’ their ads, etc. out. How can I stop that from happening? I need to be able to have images in my blog but don’t want to enable these people!

What do you mean with “they still use my images to ‘carry’ their ads, etc. out”? Everything you put on the internet can be seen by “everyone”.

The things that go right to trash and spam are advertisements from Russian sites mostly for medications but not always exclusively. They show an association/link with the images that appear on my blog. I know if it’s on the internet it’s everywhere but wondered if I could STOP that. It’s not crucial – it is just a matter of my own curiosity and I’d rather these people NOT use me as a vehicle to sell whatever they’re selling. I’ve had this blog for many years and it’s followed by a lot of people so I could make it private at this point I suppose and not open to new followers. Thanks for your response.
