RSS feed widget failing sporadically
-
The sidebar on the (wordpress.com) site http://arpabushwalkers.org.au has an RSS widget which points to http://feed43.com/arpa-bushwalkers.xml. This is currently displaying the message “An error has occurred; the feed is probably down. Try again later.” It did this earlier today, then rectified itself, but now it is back again.
It does not appear to be the feed itself on feed43.com, as that loads correctly, and, more oddly, the same is not currently happening on my test site, http://cfs1adelaide.wordpress.com/, even when I reload it at the same time as http://arpabushwalkers.org.au. (I guess there may be some caching going on to account for this discrepancy??).
Perhaps you are having a sporadic connectivity problem to feed43?
In any case, please look into this for me.
Regards, Chris

I see that the RSS widget works now. If you still encounter issues please try clearing out your cache and cookies using the guide below:

Thanks, all fine for the moment. But I can assure you it is not a browser issue as it occurs (or not) on several browsers at the same time – in my case, Safari and Firefox.

I’m glad it’s resolved now. Whenever you encounter any other oddities, contact us directly so we can take a closer look at it.
Thank you.
