rss feed, update time for new post

Add topic to favorites
I have been learning about RSS feeds. I made a new post to the bocrawford blog recently and was wondering how long does it generally take before the rss feed goes out? There seems to be a lag for some reason, but for all I know this is expected. Please advise.

It came up. I guess there was like a two hour delay. Very acceptable so no worries.
