Reverting DNS location?
-
I just upgraded from wordpress.com to wordpress.org and redirected my two domains to my new host service. However, after a few days, I don’t think wp.org is a good fit for me and I would like to switch back to wp.com. My host service told me I should just be able to change the DNS back to wp.com, but I don’t see this option (under store-domain-administration) on wp.com. Is it possible to simply switch the DNS back for both sites so they appear on my wp.com account again? Or am I going to have to pay to register then on wp.com again – even though I just bought them through wp.com a few months ago?
(The blog I want to redirect back is still showing up on my blog page on wp.com, but there is no way to click on it to tweak the DNS settings.)
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hi annieprovencher,
You can manage your domains under Store > Domains in your dashboard at this link:
https://annieprovencher.wordpress.com/wp-admin/paid-upgrades.php?page=domainsTo point your domains back to WordPress.com, you will need to update the domains’ nameservers to the following:
- ns1.wordpress.com
- ns2.wordpress.com
- ns3.wordpress.com
You can use this guide to change your domains’ nameservers in the Domain Administration: Change name servers
If you have any questions or would like additional help with this, please let me know!
