    Hi there,

I’ve replaced our wordpress website with a different website under the same domain. I didn’t expect that we’d automatically lose access to the admin panel and all the data and media saved there. Is there some way to get all that back? There are some pictures I’m not sure I have saved elsewhere

    WP.com: Yes
    Jetpack: Yes
    Correct account: Yes

The site at ulrichsfossilgallery.com has never actually been hosted at WordPress.com, so I’m afraid we are not the right people to help you with this.

Please keep in mind, WordPress itself is a piece of software for building websites. WordPress.com is actually just one of many hosting companies which offers that software — but we are also named after it, so this can often cause confusion. Your old site may have been built with the WordPress software, but it was not hosted by us.

You will need to contact your hosting provider for that site for help regaining access to it. They will likely have an alternate URL you can use now that ulrichsfossilgallery.com is pointed away, but we don’t have any way to know what that might be from our end.
