Restore deleted images

    Hello,
    I recently deleted my entire media library, not knowing that it would erase previously posted images from posts and portfolios. Can I get it restored somehow?

    I’ve tagged this for Staff attention, but depending on a few factors (when you deleted the images and whether you’ve posted since then) they may or may not be able to help here.

    Hi there,

    It’s not possible to restore deleted images as the media library does not have a Trash folder as posts and pages do. You will need to re-upload those images manually from your computer again.

    If you don’t have the images on your computer any more, you can try looking for your site on the WaybacMachine and try to recover your images by downloading them from there:
