  Can WordPress.com help me restore a website from the Wayback Machine/Internet Archive?

  Not really because the Wayback Machine/Internet Archive online grabs some snapshots or a part of the content of a site. But to restore a wordpress site, you need more than that.

  In short: you can try to restore a site, but you have to manually copy each page and post to you new site – https://wordpress.com/support/trash/#recover-content-from-the-internet-archive

  But then you still have to find a suitable theme and plugins are not amongst what you find on the Wayback Machine/Internet Archive
