Hi there,
That domain has already been removed from our system and is currently in redemption with our registrar. It is still possible for me to recover the domain at this point, but our registrar charges a $80 fee to restore a domain from redemption. Let me know if you agree to that fee and I can get the recovery process started.

Okay, I’ve sent you a link to pay for the redemption via email. Once we receive your payment I can email our domain provider to restore the domain.

I am extremely upset. First for some reason my domain didn’t automatically go. I assumed it did because my website worked 3 months after. After I figured it was expired, I emailed someone from word press, was supposed to hear from the actual team in 72 hours (keeping business hours in mind) it’s been 7 days. So I reached back out around Tuesday. Still nothing. I just want my domain back. It’s currebtly in redemption and I would be more than happy to pay the $80 for it. People on WordPress twitter aren’t helpful as they have let me know that I just have to wait. Well now I’ve been waiting over two weeks. Can someone please help me????

We’ve received your payment, thank you. I’ve emailed our registrar to redeem your domain. They usually respond within 24 hours. I’ll let you know once I hear back from them.
Please don’t hijack threads created by other users. The reason it took so long is because you kept on submitting new tickets after your issue was escalated to staff on 13 June, moving your original ticket back to the bottom of the queue every time, so we haven’t gotten to it yet. I’ve now replied to your open email ticket.

is there an easy way to set up a re-direct?
I see you’re pointing that domain to Squarespace. You’ll need to ask their support how to set up a redirect on their end. We do have a site redirect upgrade, but that’s really only intended for pointing your free WordPress.com address to another site, not for redirecting a custom domain.
