removing tags, author date and category on blogs
-
I would like a code to hide the tags, author, date and category underneath each blog post. I would like for the page to just show the title, image and blog intro.
Also, is it possible to receive a code so the blog images are all the same size for a neat look.
Thank you!
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hi
I would like to hide my heading/logo on the ‘Cici Rituals’ page. Is there a code available to do that? thank you so much

Hi there!
I noticed you created two separate threads, so I merged them into this thread and will answer both here.
CSS is a great way to customize a theme by altering aspects of it, but it’s not a very good way to completely overhaul an existing theme. In these cases, choosing a different theme is often a better solution. Unfortunately, we’re limited to what support we can provide with customizations of this nature, but I can get you pointed in the right direction.
To hide the meta data from each blog post on your blog page, you can add this CSS code in the Customizer:
.wp-block-group.post-meta { display: none; }
If you want to hide that on individual blog posts, you can use the browser inspector tools to find the proper selector to target with the
display: none;
code. Here’s a guide that will help you learn how to find these selectors: https://wordpress.com/support/css-basics/With the header on your “Cici Rituals” page, you need to specifically target that page ID; otherwise, you’ll hide the header on all your pages. Try
.page-id-3981 header
to get started.Regarding the image modifications, that is outside the scope of support we can provide, so you would need to hire a developer or someone to do this customization work for you.
I hope that helps you get started!

This was extremely helpful and I was about to hide the tags etc. I think it may have hid it on the individual blog post as well.
In regards to the Cici Rituals page, you suggested i use .page-id-3981 – can you tell me where I can access the page ID and whats steps I can take to hide the logo on there.
My 2 last questions are
is there a way to make the blog post featured images smaller on the individual blog pages? They look extra big.
&
For some odd reason, the header, on all pages is including the logo with my site headline but it also is including the an image with “she who feels she who knows” I would like for the image and those words to only be on the front page. Any idea why it is showing on all of the pages? and how I can resolve that.
thank you so so so much

As I advised earlier, we cannot help with extensive customizations of this nature, which is why I gave you some guidance and resources to do this yourself. If you’re not able to do these changes on your own, you would need to hire a developer to do this for you.
To find the page ID for a specific page, you need to open the page in the page editor. Example for that page:
https://ciaravicente.wordpress.com/wp-admin/post.php?post=3981&action=edit
The
post=3981
is that page’s post ID and how you indicate that specific page when you write the CSS required using.page-id-3981

It looks like you edited your Page template in the Site Editor – under Appearance > Site Editor (beta). Editing the page template there will change the look for every page you create under Pages > Add New.
You would need to go into the Site Editor and remove the elements you don’t want to show on every Page, then edit the specific homepage in the Page editor to add that element back if you only want it on that page.
Regarding your other questions, that does fall outside the scope of support that Staff can provide.

how can i hire a developer to help me accomplish my goals with this theme?
please guide me in the write direction because i definitely wouldn’t know how to put codes together without any previous knowledge…

You can use a site like Codeable (no affiliation) to post the scope of your project and choose from available developers to help you with your site design,
Then, whomever you hire, you want to add them as a user to your site so they can make changes. Here’s steps on how to do that: https://wordpress.com/support/user-roles/#contractor-freelancer-consultant-or-agency
I hope that helps you get started!
