Remove the rainbow banner.

Bottom line, we don’t need any sort of political, religious or cultural messages imposed on us. Whether it is gay pride, gay marriage, the nra, gun control, black lives matter, Israel, abortion, the catholic church, ramadan, happy christmas, jesus is your saviour or any other social, political or religious issue, it should not be imposed on everyone without their consent. It’s funny how one happy engineer took it upon herself to close all threads about this yesterday because they did not want to have this kind of discussion on the forum. Why? Because people would get offended? Yet, there is nothing done about the rainbow banner, despite many bloggers speaking out agaist it? Double standard wordpress. It’s a two way street. I only want to see a blue bar on top of my admin pages, nothing else.

The rainbow master bar was added in support of the Supreme Court of the United States ruling on same-sex marriage today.
WordPress.com has joined other companies such as Tumblr, Twitter, Google, and Facebook in showing our support for marriage equality.

I DONT NEDD A TEMPORARY FIX. THE BANNER WILL COME BACK ONCE PAGE IS REFRESHED. I DONT NEED TO JUMP THROUGH HOOPS AND GET INTO THE PAGE CODE. I WANT IT GONE!!!!

You have posted into 7 different threads making this demand and now you are typing in all capital lettering SHOUTING! at Volunteers demanding that your will be done. You have emailed Staff as well and even posted this demand off-topic into threads on other topics yesterday. You can be gone from here if that’s your desire. You can set up a wordpress.ORG software install and control everything on your new site. For web hosting these are recommended hosts http://wordpress.org/hosting and the free software is at http://wordpress.ORG.

As mentioned previously, the banner is temporary. It will eventually be removed. I’ll be closing this thread.
