    Hello,

    I would like to know if the business offer ‘chenevier-ura-okayama-univ.com’ can be refund. Because we would like to move from wordpress.com to wordpress.org because of the really limited possibility of wordpress.com

    Hi Benoît,

    The domain chenevier-ura-okayama-univ.com is owned by the user chenevieruraokayamauniv. Only the purchase owner can manage the domain.

    Because we would like to move from wordpress.com to wordpress.org because of the really limited possibility of wordpress.com

    If you want to use the domain on your self hosted WordPress.org site, you don’t need to cancel it — you can cancel your plan but keep the domain. We don’t recommend cancelling a domain you want to use in the future because there is no guarantee you’ll be able to register it again. There are a couple of alternatives:

    1. Transfer the domain to a new registrar:

    https://en.support.wordpress.com/transfer-domain-registration/

    2. Keep the domain with WordPress.com and change the name servers:

    https://en.support.wordpress.com/change-name-servers/

    To cancel the plan and keep the domain, the owner would need to do the following:

    Go to their Manage Purchases page and click Cancel. This will take all of the upgrades and separate them into individual upgrades and they can choose to keep the domain.
