Reduce space between logo and featured content

  • Hi everyone, I’m wondering if I can use CSS to reduce the space between the blog logo and the menu?

    Seems that 1/3 of the screen is wasted and i’d like to close that gap. Can anyone help me with this, please?

    Much appreciated. Thanks

    The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  • Actually your logo size has too much white space. I suggest you to crop it.
    Even though we can reduce the space by this css, but not too much;

    #site-header{
      padding-bottom: 0;
    }
    #site-nav{
      padding-top: 0;
    }
  • Hi Niza, thanks so much! I have cropped the logo and use the css modification and it works!

    Now, I have another question. Under navigation, I want to get rid of the primary menu since I already have the smaller header menu on the top right hand. When I didn’t choose any menu, it just use the menu at random. How do I remove this line so it doesn’t appear altogether?

  • Hi, are you already solved navigation issue? I saw your website didn’t have primary navigation anymore.

  • Hi there, I didn’t resolve the navigation issue actually :) I just merely created a blank menu and set that as primary navigation. Is there a way to resolve this via CSS?

  • Hi there,

    You can add this css if you want to get rid primary navigation;

    #site-nav{
      display: none;
    }

    Anyway, your site looks better with horizontal logo :).

  • Hi there, great. Thank you so much for helping!
