Reduce space above header image

Can I reduce the space above my banner/image/header?
At the moment, and ad can display above the image, which I think is ugly. Adwords advise, if there’s a space there, then an ad will be pushed out to there.

Hi there, you can go to https://wordpress.com/ads/settings/imageearthtravel.com and turn off the “top of each page” ad placement.

Also, I need to get someone to check my CSS for any conflicting code, is this possible? If so, do I start a new thread? I’ll backup my current code.

Yay, glad that worked. I’m not seeing any issues with your site when I visit it on phone and my desktop system.

I also looked through your CSS, and nothing jumps out at me as a problem. If you see any issues, let us know and we will certainly look into them for you.

Ok, thought as I’ve added a lot of code over a few years and from different areas that maybe it needs a clean-up or conflicting.
