Recovering deleted domain mapping

    I was trying to transfer my domain, but the ‘Transfer Domain’ link shown in the support docs (https://en.support.wordpress.com/transfer-domain-registration) was not available. ‘Email’ and ‘DNS’ were the only visible links for my domain. I deleted the domain mapping in a, mistaken, effort to correct the Transfer Domain problem. The domain is currently listed as not available for purchase. Is there a way to still transfer the domain? What would be the process to recover the domain?

    I see you cancelled domain mapping for joeandrosie.com. Is that the domain you want to transfer?

    joeandrosie.com was not registered through WordPress.com, which is why you do not see the transfer option in your WordPress.com account. The domain appears to be registered through register.com.

    Where would you like to transfer the domain to?
