  I was creating a new website with a specific domain name and then deleted the website because I wanted to start over with a new design. I want to keep and use the same domain name, but now the domain name does not appear to be available. Is there any way to make it available again?

  It was “shadowcinema.wordpress.com”

  shadowcinema.wordpress.com is no longer available.
  The authors have deleted this site.

  You must have clicked past the warnings that you will be unable to use that same WordPress.com address again (until at least two years have elapsed). If you have deleted a WordPress.com site I’m afraid it cannot now be restored. https://en.support.wordpress.com/recycling-blog-names/
  You could set up a new free site with a slightly different address or upgrade to a paid plan where you could use the same domain name but ending in .com instead of .wordpress.com (if it isn’t already taken).
