re wording what my site is about

    changing the wording that shows up when others search for my website. It currently says something about children and kids and learning tips. this is redundant and also NOT what I offer. I am a preschool. My brother had originally set up the site and wrote this I think. I need to change it. I thought i did, but can’t remember where I changed it or how…and when I went to google it had not changed.

    So first, what you’re referring to is called a “meta-description”, and it’s a type of meta-tag.

    I was going to explain how to change it, but then I found the answer very neatly spelled out on the WordPress.org forum HERE.
