Re-publish a post and publicize

    I have published about 35 posts since August of last year. Since then, I have worked on SEO and about 10 posts ago began publicizing them on a facebook page.

    I would like to go back and re-publish my older posts and publicize them.

    1. I tried editing the publish date (my links do not have date stamps) however in this case (did it once) the publicize checkbox was not clickable.
    2. I read about repost however that option is not available under the “share” icon (in the browser). The forum post talked about a “reader” however that is just the browser, right?

    Any help would be greatly appreciated. I would prefer to just make a clone of the post and publicize it rather that repost – and do not want to “copy and paste” as was also mentioned in the forum post.

    My blog is completely vanilla wordpress 4.7.3 running Hemingway theme and I only have Google Analytics, Jetpack, Wordfence, and “WP Post Email Notification” plugins activated. I have never logged in via console and messed with anything.
