Questions about jetpack

    I just installed jetpack on to my wordpress.org site.

    – Did this switch me to wordpress.com?

    I want to upload an interview I did that is larger than 64mb limit.

    – Does paying for an upgraded Jetpack plan increase my upload file size limit?

    Previously I was on Bluehost for my wordpress.org site. I do not recall having any limitations to my individual post sizes, only an overall limit to my site’s server space.

    – By installing jetpack has the space I have for my site changed?

    The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

    As you mentioned your site is a self-hosted WordPress.org site (Bluehost).

    Forgive me, just as I sent that I see that I may have misunderstood you.

    Are you inquiring for the site, theaciddrip.wordpress.com or another site?

    No. Your site is still hosted on Bluehost’s servers. Connecting Jetpack just allows you to manage your site via your WordPress.com login, and it gives you access to some of WordPress.com’s features on your self-hosted site.

    Does paying for an upgraded Jetpack plan increase my upload file size limit?

    No. That is still determined by your hosting provider, and the memory limit set in your site’s server configuration. Please contact your host’s support, or ask in the WordPress.org forums for help with changing those memory limits.

    By installing jetpack has the space I have for my site changed?

    No. That is determined by the hosting plan you bought from Bluehost. To increase your site’s storage space you’ll need to upgrade your plan with them.
