Questions about Harmonic theme: social icons, logo

Here is the site I am working on:

    akfitness.london

And here are the specific issues I am trying to solve for that I could use some guidance on:

My goal is to create a homepage with only one image and with a logo image in place of the Read More button.

I currently have the site set up using the static homepage but I am struggling to get the logo I am using to appear in place of the Read More button.

If I try to use the Front Page template instead, it defaults to one of the stock images when I try to insert the logo over my background image using the customizer. And when I use the Front Page template the background image appears on every page on the site, and I only want it to show up on the homepage.

I’ve tried every combination that I can think of to try to solve for these issues – what am I missing?

Also, the social icons (which I was able to get to display without issue on the site when I view it on my laptop) do not appear when I look at the site on my phone. Is that a known issue with this theme?

Any advice would be greatly appreciated! Thank you!

Hi, I see you have the main page static now with only the single image. The button thing will take a bit of CSS work, but it can be done. If you can add it back in, and give us a URL for your logo, we can see what we can do for you.

The social icons disappear due to the fact that there is so little space in the header areas on mobile devices given they have to share the space with the title and the menu toggle.

One option would be to add the social icons to the menu and then use a media query with display: none; to hide them at 1025px and wider (min-width: 1025px).

I just opened a page using this theme, and need to know how to make the social media icons appear at the top bar next to the “harmonic” header name at the top left. They disappeared and I can’t find them. Thanks!

Also, second concern…. unable to achieve the “scrolling” into various images on the main page as in the demo. Thanks!

There is a separate menu in Harmonic for the social links which you can read more about here.

For setting up the front page, see the Harmonic Theme Showcase page.
