Publishing SEO info

    In my settings I have written a short blurb about my site. How do I go about publishing this so that it appears under my site title when I search for it in a search engine?

    Hi there, what appears under your site title on your site is the “Tagline” and you set that under your Settings>General Settings. I currently see “grow your own joy” there.

    In the SEO tab on Settings, that Front Page Meta Description is what will appear in search engine returns for your site, but doesn’t appear on your site itself.

    It can take 4-6 weeks for your site to start appearing in search engine results. Here’s a bit more on search engines: https://en.support.wordpress.com/search-engines/
