Publish a "regular" column?
I used to write a regular column of tidbits, items of note with comments, when I was in journalism work, and my college paper.
On my blog, I’d like to have a “regular” column –like newspapers and magazines have– like the opinion column, a daily sports column, etc.
How can I do that, so the posts are all together, reverse chronological order (newest on top), and it’s listed on my sidebar or some other way that people/readers can find this personal column easily on my site?
I don’t know of any widget that would help, or if I can do that with a category somehow. Any help appreciated…
The blog I need help with is drwebdomain.blog.
You should be able to achieve that with category pages. Here’s more information on how this works:
As for adding those to the sidebar, you can either use the Categories, Links or even Text widget.
Also, remember that with your plan you can reach us via live chat, directly from https://wordpress.com/help/contact :)
Thank you.. I’ll give category pages a try.
Well, also, after looking at that.. it doesn’t stand out much. It’s on the menu, but I want to have it show up uniquely for each post (or always) on the home page.. how can I do that?
That’s about the closest we can do here, each way there is a section for each column essentially, but yes they will appear all together and not unique in the main blog view.
Aw, oh well.. perhaps I should just make it as a separate blog, and link to it from my home page, might work.. thank again,
