Projects / Portfolio Not Working

    Hi everyone,

    I haven’t been able to use any Project or Portfolio blocks on my page. I have portfolio enabled, I’ve tried the tip in the help article [portfolio], I have three projects I created in the portfolio tool but no luck. When I search in the Query Loop box, it doesn’t turn up anything for either project or portfolio and I can’t assign any of my pages as the default portfolio page. The live support is days out from a response so here I am!

    You can see all portfolio posts here https://tylerdalk.com/portfolio/. This page is automatically generated and shows all the portfolio posts on the site.

    Also, I checked your site pages but I don’t see any page with a portfolio shortcode or the query loop block. Could you please create a draft page and follow the instructions here to display portfolio posts. If that doesn’t work, please keep the shortcode or block on that page and let us know so we can take a look.

    Thank you for responding! I deleted my old draft page with the query loop, but I will make a new one right now. I am just checking – did you mean to link me to instruction to display portfolio posts? You said “follow the instructions here to display portfolio posts” but there’s not link or anything. I might be misunderstanding what you mean, though, so please let me know if that is the case. I just want to make sure I’m following the right directions so I don’t take up more of your time. I’ll start with making a draft page w/ query loop the way I did last time and I’ll wait for your response. It should be up shortly.

    (I just added it – titled “Draft Portfolio Page)

    I was unable to select a portfolio post query loop – looks like blog posts are my only option when I get to the pattern selection prompts in the query loop.

    Thanks for creating the Draft page.
    You can add the Query loop block and then go to the block settings to change the post type option from post to project as shown here https://d.pr/i/6KUQaA

    I have updated the draft post for you, could you please check and confirm?
