problems with importing from xanga.com

    I still can’t import the final part of my blog Thevegancommunicator.wordpress.com. It is a tiny file. I downloaded it again from the archive on Xanga.com but It still doesn’t get imported.

    The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

    You should have had multiple files in your Xanga.com export folder, and each one needs to be imported separately.

    When you say the final file doesn’t get imported, what do you mean? I do not see an error in the importer on our end, but it looks like the final file has not been imported. Can you try again and let me know what happens – do you get an error message or something else?

    Hi, i don’t get an error message, it is just not there. My archive folder is divided into four parts. I successfully transferred 3 out of 4.

    I can see four exports into your WordPress.com blog. Is the content from Xanga showing up on your blog now?

    If not, I’d be happy to try the import for you again, but I will need your export file from Xanga. You can upload the .zip folder to a sharing service like dropbox and link me so I can download it.
