problems with embedding links

links over text works, but link embedded over IMG or media only shows rotating blue circle when cursor is over link, does not go to link. Used to work on images on static landing zones, but now does not work on static pages or posts

By the way, it looks like you have a self-hosted website! Usually, for self-hosted sites, you would have to go to wordpress.org! Here is wordporess.com which are two completely different sites.
