Why is my posts not being emailed out to members?

Hi there!
Please ask your members to double check that they have confirmed their subscription to your blog. If they have a WordPress.com account, they can view all of the blogs they’re following on their Blogs I Follow page on the Reader.
Alternatively, they can confirm their blog subscription in the Subscription Management screen from their WP Admin Dashboard -> Blogs I Follow page.

If they don’t have a WordPress.com account, then they can view their subscription settings here: https://subscribe.wordpress.com/
Some other tips:
– Ask them to check their spam/junk email box. If their email client gives you the option to unblock specific email addresses, try allowing *@wordpress.com (all emails from the domain) and/or (email visible only to moderators and staff) addresses.
– Make sure they uncheck the box next to “Block all email updates from WordPress.com blogs you follow” on their Email Delivery Settings page (for those who have WordPress.com accounts).Here’s more information on followers:

They are following. It worked right up until this week. Then when I type up a post it quit sending the email notifications. For along time it was doing the same thing except with the facebook feature. I think its a trouble shoot problem but I can’t find a way to trouble shoot it to wordpress.

I’ll tag this thread for Staff assistance. Will you please provide a couple of usernames for those WordPress.com bloggers who did not receive the emails as well as a couple of email addresses for those who do not have WordPress.com accounts? The software will redact ie. HIDE the email addresses so only Staff can see them. After you do that subscribe to the thread so you are notified when they respond and please be patient while waiting. -

https://wordpress.com/following/edit/It looks like you were unsubscribed from email notifications on this blog around 4 days ago. Is it possible that you might have toggled with your settings around that time?
I checked our mail system logs for emails we’ve delivered to the other WordPress.com users you listed in the past week. Our records show that email notifications of new posts for that blog were successfully delivered to their email providers’ mail servers and I couldn’t find any delivery error reports.
Let me know if you have any extra questions or concerns surrounding this.

No, I haven’t messed with any settings. Just been adding posts. The only thing I did 4 days ago was add a poll to a post which was the first time.

Hm. I’m unsure what could have toggled that setting off for you in that case. Could I ask if you forwarded one of your email notifications to anyone else from your inbox? If so, it’s possible they could have clicked the Unsubscribe link there.

Yes I have done that in the past. I guess I need to delete that sentence if I forward it form now on.

My best guess is that one of the people you forwarded the email to previously clicked on the link to unsubscribe by mistake. It would be better for you to remove it from future forwards to prevent it happening again.
